Please feel free to make some comments, they go a long way to encourage me to continue my blog contributions. ^_^

  2. Respighi arranged Rossini's pieces to make this orchestral work, "La boutique fantasque". We have not often the opportunity to hear it in concerts!

(Just note a detail, the title says "fantasque" rather than "fantastique").

  3. @classic,

Thanks so much for pointing that out, I've fixed it.

  4. Yun-ming, you were right ! The title is really "La boutique fantasque". You can verify With Wikipedia.
I was not aware of those Fennell recordings. Interresting material to complete his US made recording, notably the ones with the Eastman orchestra.
    Thank you and Happy Holidays.

  5. I really appreciate your posting the best of concert band music. However, I'm having a problem extracting your files for listening. Using your passwords, I get "need file three installed" even when extracting file three. Catch 22? Help!
